LSD ECP training for SCM

Training for Standard Chartered Marathon
Date: 1st Novemeber 2009 (SUNDAY)
Meet at ECP car park G
Time: 6am SHARP (Flag-off)
Distance: 30k-33k

Route:
ECP car park G > ECP park connector > Ford Road >MountBatten Road (petrol Kiosk) > turn left to Kallang KFC > Singapore Indoor Stadium > west entrance of National Stadium > turn left to Kallang Park ? keep left to pass Hindu Temple @ Crawford Street > run under the fly over > Marina Promenade Park connector > Singapore Flyer F1 pit area > ESPLANADE (U TURN) > return along Marina Park Connector > run behind Singapore Stadium > a cross the bridge over Kallang River > turn left to Tanjong Rhu Rd > back to Ford Rd > ECP

For 33km: Once reach Car park G, runners to cuntinue another 1.5km up to gate of NSRCC, Uturn Back same way to Car Parl G

Shorter Distance: can U turn anytime along the way.

Distance: Max: 36.5km
Route:
A) Distance/Route/ 26 KM:SK CC to SK West,YCK/Lentor/ Yishun Ave 1 junction-10. 5 km mark/Mandai Ave/turn left to Mandai Rd> UPPER THOMSON ROAD Road Shell > YCK > SK WEST > SK CC
B) Distance/Route/ 30kmSK CC to SK West,YCK/Lentor/ Yishun Ave 1 junction-10. 5 km mark/Mandai Ave/U-TURN 15 KM MARK along MANDAI Ave OPPOSITE Jalan Ulu Sembawang.
C) Distance/Route/ 36.5 km ZooSK CC to SK West,YCK/Lentor/ Yishun Ave 1 junction-10. 5 km mark/Mandai Ave/Turn left to MANDAI LAKE ROAD/U-TURN AT ZOO-18.2 KM MARK -Water point.

So guys and girls, if you like the thrill of all activities, we love to have you around, but of course, you must be able to run! that is our criteria.

PICNIC in the PARK cum LSD 26K ECP-CHANGI

Most of us is racing Safra Quadthlon in Team.
But since the race venue is in ECP, we would like to invite all runners to train for middle and long distance at the same place.

Our Chairman has brought up a good idea, 'PICNIC IN THE PARK' with pot luck style!
NO need to prepare or bring complicated food/drink. Some snack, cookies/biscuit, simple food will do. Let us know who game for this!!!!

Here is the plan:
Distance: 10km-26km
Meet: ECP car park 2 (start point for safra Quadth)
Time: 7am
Route: running along ECP towards Changi Park, the toilet for Real Run (u -Turn point 13k)

Some who has or needs transports can highlight here so that we can consolidate the tompang!
For tompang, Perry's lorry can load 3 more pax. We will meet up at Sengkang CC by 6am, depart latest by 6.15 SHARP

LSD to DownTown East

Date: 4th October 2009 (Sunday)
Meet at Sengkang CC
Time: 6.15am - Flag Off: 6.30am SHARP
Distance: 20km
Route: Sengkang CC > Buangkok new Bridge > Old tampines rd > Tampines Ave 5 > waferplant exit to left IKEA n GIANT > X traffic light to pasir ris dr 3 > downtown east (10.5km) U-TURN same way back.
P.S: for those who want to do extra distance, can do a few loops at sengkang square
